My name is Andrea Epps. My husband and I are beginning our new journey to parenthood in a way different than we planned. Have you ever had a plan and then God takes you on a different journey and laughs at your plan ? That is us- we have often discussed our desire and want to become parents when planning out our lives. However, we didn’t know that we wouldn’t just be able to try to conceive and boom there’s a baby. After trying to conceive naturally, we realized that we would need a little help. After being told by God through some spiritual confidants and leaning on God’s promises, we were told - “God wants y’all to know the baby comes from him.” Although we know that baby’s are a gift from God - this message meant that we would have a journey to go through to try to achieve our goal of becoming parents. With various factors on both my husband’s end and my end, we are ready to start this journey, while walking in faith. Having to start the journey is already a lot to handle and we don’t want financials to be a hindrance either as we follow God’s plan.
