Four Years of Trying, Hoping, and Praying for Our Family For the past four years, my husband and I have been trying to achieve something we've dreamed of: becoming parents and growing our family. What we hoped would happen naturally has turned into a journey filled with hope, uncertainty, heartbreak, and faith. During the first three years, we tried everything we could on our own. We tracked ovulation, used ovulation strips, took supplements, and explored different recommendations that might help us conceive. We were so excited about the possibility of becoming parents that we were willing to try just about anything, even things we came across on TikTok! Every new suggestion gave us a little more hope that perhaps this would finally be our moment. Eventually, we realized we needed medical help and turned to a fertility clinic. This year, we completed three rounds of medicated intrauterine insemination (IUI). Each round came with renewed hope that we might finally receive the news we had been praying for. Unfortunately, none resulted in a pregnancy. After four years of trying, we have been diagnosed with infertility and diminished ovarian reserve. Our physician has recommended in vitro fertilization (IVF) as our next step and emphasized the importance of pursuing treatment in a timely manner. We have already spent approximately $4,000 on fertility treatments, and although we are grateful for the care we've received, the financial burden of IVF presents another significant challenge. We want to move forward, but the cost makes it difficult to know how we'll make this next step possible. **Through everything, we continue to hold on to our faith in God and our dream of becoming parents.** This journey has been emotionally difficult, but we are still hopeful. We understand that IVF cannot guarantee a pregnancy, but it offers us another opportunity to pursue the family we've been dreaming of for so long. We created this fundraiser to help us move closer to beginning IVF. Every contribution, no matter the size, would help ease the financial burden and bring us one step closer to pursuing this next stage of our journey.
