A Miracle in the Making: Help Us Grow Our Family Through IVF Some dreams never leave your heart, no matter how complicated the journey becomes. One of mine is the dream of having another baby and growing my family. I am raising funds to help make that dream possible through in vitro fertilization (IVF). In 2018, I had a tubal ligation during my C-section. At the time, I made the decision that I felt was right for my life. Today, my circumstances and dreams are different, and I am hoping for the opportunity to welcome another child into my family. After exploring my options, I have decided to pursue IVF rather than tubal reversal. I have started the fertility process with my reproductive medicine team and have begun completing the initial bloodwork and testing needed to understand my fertility and prepare for treatment. My next major step is an ultrasound scheduled for November 19, 2026. From there, my medical team can help determine the best treatment plan and guide me toward the next stage. I am also hoping to **create and freeze multiple embryos—ideally two to three—**so I can have more than one opportunity to pursue pregnancy. This is an important part of my goal, but it also adds to the financial commitment. Unfortunately, IVF is expensive, and the costs of consultations, testing, medications, egg retrieval, fertilization, embryo freezing, and storage can add up quickly. I have Medicaid, but I cannot assume that the IVF services I need will be covered. I am exploring financial assistance, grants, and payment options while trying to prepare for the road ahead. We have taken the first steps toward making our dream a reality by scheduling our fertility consultation and beginning the initial testing process. So far, we have: * Completed our initial fertility consultation with our reproductive medicine team. * Started the preliminary bloodwork to evaluate my hormone levels and ovarian reserve. * Completed important fertility and preconception screenings. * Begun reviewing our results with the goal of understanding our options and preparing for IVF. * Scheduled our next important milestone: an ultrasound on November 19, 2026.
