Hi, My name is Jazmin, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart as a single mother doing everything I can to create a better future for my little girl. Life has never been easy, but right now—with all the uncertainty surrounding the refugee process in the U.S.—it feels especially heavy. We are here seeking safety, stability, and a chance to grow in peace. But with the refugee program currently paused, many doors that we had hoped would open are now closed or uncertain. I am doing my best, but it’s simply not enough to cover my daughter’s basic needs—food, clothes, medical care, and a safe place to call home. This is not easy for me to write. Asking for help is never easy. But I’m doing it because my daughter deserves a chance. She deserves warmth, hope, and a mother who can provide even in the hardest moments.
