I am fundraising for my husband and myself to have a second chance. A second chance for a family of our own. We do each have 1 child each (boys) from previous relationships. I would like to have a child of our own. Just one more. We tried IVF due to my age and several years of trying on our own and failing. I was so excited because the results of our testing came out good. I got even more excited when they were able to get 7 eggs from me. Because of my age (43 at the time of the 1st IVF) I thought they were only going to get 1 egg. So when they got 7, I was very hopeful. Then after a day had passed, they informed me that only 4 eggs fertilized which still gave me a little hope. Then after a stressful week of waiting to see if my eggs survived, I got the call that none of them made. It was very heartbreaking. Even worse the doctor couldn't explain to me why they didn't survive. So here we are now after a year of heartache, We have decided to try again, but now we do not have the funds. So please help us have a 2nd chance. To give my son who is 18 and my stepson who is 10 have a little brother or sister. That is what they would like as well as my husband and me.
