My name is Leia and I will be 40 this year. After years of trying naturally and then a miscarriage in 2020, we decided to consult a doctor to see if there was an issue. So far, all of our tests have been normal and clear of any obstructions that would prevent us from pregnancy. We went through the IVF process with 9 embryos retrieved, 4 viable, and 2 failed transfers. We have chosen to get a second opinion, and again, all of our tests results are normal and there is no explanations as to why we have not had a successful pregnancy yet. Unfortunately, our insurance doesn't cover as much the second go round.
