Avery and Alyssa are a married couple who need a final piece of their story completed. Can you help?
During the IVF (in-vitro fertilization) process, things did not go as planned and they were left with an outcome that would force them to do retrieval again. “We experienced a heartbreaking outcome. Something we had prayed for, hoped for, and emotionally prepared ourselves for did not go the way we dreamed it would.
What many people may not realize is how much goes into this journey. The medications, the appointments, the physical pain, the emotional roller coaster, the hopes, the prayers, and the dreams of one day becoming parents. And then, in a moment, everything we had worked toward felt like it had been taken away. I wish I could take away the weight of everything my wife has had to endure. She is stronger than she knows!”
Why we are sharing our story:
We are sharing this because infertility and fertility treatments are not always filled with the outcomes people expect. Behind every journey is a real person, a real struggle, and so much love and hope.
Our hearts are holding on to hope for what may still be ahead for us to continue to grow our little family. They both work with children as their careers and give back to their community in more ways than one.
What this would mean to us:
We deeply want to grow our family and become parents. Our journey may look different than we imagined, and the road may be harder than we ever expected, but we are still holding each other's hands through it all. This would help us continue our dream of my wife carrying and creating the final piece of our family.
What your support covers
Alyssa and Avery realize people have burdens of their own but they also believe deeply in the power and love of community involvement and coming together. Your support would cover the initial steps of the IVF process; Retrieval and Insemination.
