I have always wanted to be a mother. Over the years other events took priority, school, travel, injuries, nursing school, and becoming a homeowner. I always thought I needed to have a partner but as time has gone on I have found that I am happiest with the life I have created but that one dream of being a mother still remains. I started my motherhood journey a little over a year and an half ago. It has been disappointing to say the least. Each round you get your hopes up and then you feel depleted and broken that your body won’t cooperate. However there is also nothing that could be done differently with the treatments. I know that I can only keep trying and having faith that between the medical side and the universe it will happen one day for me. Moving forward with this process has been difficult with a one income household with everyday expenses along with the debt that comes along with reaching the goals of what I wanted earlier in life. That now hinders my moving forward with the next steps. Getting support from friends and family would help me be one step forward to my dream of being a mom. It would help me pay for an ivf round. Any donations would mean life to me. It could help me be the mom I know I can be!!
