About 8, almost 9 years ago, I made a deeply regretful decision to get my tubes tied because I was in an abusive marriage at the time and didn’t want anymore children with him nor did I know what my future with him would look like. Fast forward, I met my boyfriend (4 happy years together now)and he has never had any children of his own. We both want to add one more baby to the family, but I was told that unfortunately I can’t have a tubal reversal because the doctor left me with no fallopian tubes left to reconnect. He has been so good to the kids of mine over the past few years, but I can see the sadness and disappointment in his eyes knowing that they will never have his last name and that he doesn’t have a child yet. My partner and I are hoping to gain the funds needed so that we can finally complete our family and I can continue watching him be the absolute best dad that any child can have. How we'll use the funds: We would use the funds to help pay for treatments, bloodwork, and genetic testing that may be offered up to make sure that we have a healthy embryo.
