My wife, Marin, and I have always longed to be parents, and now that we’ve had time to grow together, we want to fulfill our dream of becoming moms! We met in 2020 and became good friends, and then eventually in 2023 we made it official and began dating! We got married in Paradise, UT in July of 2025, and married life with my best friend couldn’t be better! Marin currently works as a behavior technician with children and adults with disabilities, and Ashlyn is currently finishing up her master’s degree to become a speech-language pathologist. We enjoy spending time outside together taking our dog, Flo, on walks, gardening, and spending time at the lake. For us, adoption is the way we’ve chosen to grow our family. Marin was adopted herself, so adoption has always been something deeply personal to us. We spent a lot of time talking about what becoming parents might look like, including whether we wanted to pursue IVF or adoption. As we reflected on Marin’s own story and what adoption has meant in her life, we kept coming back to the same feeling that there is a child out there whom we could support and choose wholeheartedly. More than anything, we want our future child to grow up knowing that they are our first choice. We are so ready to create a home filled with safety, laughter, patience, and unconditional love, but the financial cost of adoption can be overwhelming. Any support toward helping us bring our child home would mean the world to us as we take a step to becoming moms!
