Hello, thank you for checking out our page. My name is Luz’Ce and D.J. is my husband. We are the Anchondos and this our story. My husband is a ten year survivor of testicular cancer, something he had been battling before we met. He underwent extensive chemo treatment and a lymph node dissection due to metastasis which severed a nerve vital to his reproduction. Thankfully though, he was advised to cryopreserve his sperm prior to this surgery, and he has been paying about $900 every year for the past ten years in great hopes for our one day family. This is in addition to continuing to pay for his cancer treatment that saved his life. D.J. and I have been married for four years and together a total of nine, and we are ready and excited to expand our family with a little miracle of joy. We have been on our journey for six months now traveling to and from San Antonio because IVF treatment is not available in San Angelo. We've had so much support from our families and friends, and we got so close but some obstacles arose and we are facing more unexpected expenses. But we will make this happen by the grace of God! I have completed one round of stimulation medication, one egg retrieval, and frozen two embryos (one graded good and the other fair), but no embryo transfer just yet because I had some unexpected mild complications that we’ve had to treat due to the stimulation medications. Our doctor recommends we undergo another round of stimulation and egg retrieval in order to increase our chances for successful pregnancy, and this is where we sort of hit our wall. The second round of this process is not what we had expected, and this is why we humbly ask for your contribution to help grow our love and happiness as a family with a little one that we already can't wait to hold and snuggle.
