My entire life has been dedicated to serving young people. From babies to college age students. In many different ways I have served some of the young people I've encountered as a "mother" figure. While it has always been a pleasure watching them grow and be a part of their lives, I never once considered that starting my own family would be an issue. I just figured when the time was right with the right person everything would fall into place. I was raised by a very strong single mother, and being that I was the oldest I was also a mother to my siblings. In high school, picking up my siblings from school, attending parent teacher conference's, buying them school clothes and school supplies. Helping them with their homework, helping pay bills and tons of other responsibilities that a mother would have. I feel like my most of my life I've been a mother. .. And now that I have a wonderful partner and a beautiful 11 year old step son, I want to experience the fullness of motherhood. We recently found out that both of my tubes are blocked, and as you may know, IVF treatments are extremely expensive, Insurance doesn't cover it, but we've been told that this is our best option. We want to expand our family. .. I've spent most of my life pouring into young people, and supporting families in and out of my community and It's been such a pleasure to do so, but now I want to mother and pour into a child of my own.
