My name is Samantha. My husband, Joey, had cancer twice (leukemia[11] and testicular[22]). The treatment for these caused his sperm count to be low; couple that with a blockage and we were unable to get pregnant naturally. Joey underwent a surgery to removed sperm and we sold a vehicle in order for me to go through the egg retrieval and first embryo transfer. It was a long expensive process but TOTALLY worth it. We have a beautiful baby girl, Bellamy Rose. We have 7 more embryos frozen and if money was not an object I’d be ready to get pregnant again very soon…but the medicine and any future embryo transfers will cost quite a bit of money.
