My name is Miranda and I have a history of PCOS, endometriosis, and extreme insulin resistance. My family history consists of ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers as well as PCOS and endometriosis. Knowing my history of these diagnoses helped my husband Tyler and I make the decision of trying for a baby right after we got married in 2021. We found out Tyler has varicocele, this journey seems impossible. We did one round of IUI and they guaranteed it wouldn’t work due to the varicocele but they said there’s always a chance and we already traveled 4 hours away from home. We had one follicle at this time although we were hopeful it didn’t work. I had 4 miscarriages. We are now in the process of IVF treatment which CNY fertility quoted and it will be $6,500 for the entire treatment.. medications are $3,364.72 alone.. as well as being able to freeze my eggs they recommended. We are currently saving all the money we can save so we can have our miracle baby but with bills and how much groceries cost, it will take a VERY long time... We both work Full Time jobs. I have a business. We are running ourselves ragged so we decided to go to our community as a possibility to have our miracle baby.
