Hello, we are Mycah and Allison Grijalva. For the past three years, we have been on an emotional rollercoaster, trying to build the family we’ve always dreamed of. Our journey has been marked by heartbreak—three devastating pregnancy losses and four angel babies gone too soon. After countless doctor visits and tests, we found out we are facing a rare genetic condition that makes natural conception incredibly difficult. Only giving us a 20%-30% chance of success. Now, we are turning to IVF, our best hope for a successful pregnancy. Infertility affects 1 in 8 couples, and recurrent pregnancy loss impacts about 1 in 100. Despite medical advancements, fertility treatments remain out of reach for many due to their high costs. A single IVF cycle can cost over $20,000, and most couples need multiple attempts. We pray that we will have success but it is all a game of chance.

We are creating a special Puzzle for the Nursery—a 500-piece puzzle that will come together with the love and support of our friends and family. Each piece is $20, and every donor’s name will be written on the puzzle piece/pieces, symbolizing the love and encouragement that helped bring our baby into the world. They say it takes a village to raise a baby, and in our case it will take a village to make a baby.
