Hello, my name is Kryzen. My partner, MK, and I are looking to make our dreams come true of starting a family. We have been married since 2012 and wanted to wait until we were older to start a family as our main focus was on our education and career goals. As life progressed, we witnessed the beauty and love of our friends and family creating their own little families. We no longer want to just be Auntie and Uncle. We are now at the point of our lives where we are ready to start our own family and begin the IUI process. We are taking the IUI route because my partner is a transgender male. The IUI procedure is not 100% covered and sperm banks are very costly. We have saved enough for the out of pocket IUI treatment expenses. The funds donated to us would go directly towards sperm donation, which is 0% covered under our insurance. Our local sperm bank costs anywhere from $600-1500 per vial, depending on the donor we choose. We are asking our community and LGBTQIA+ supporters to be a part of our journey in starting a family.
