Help me on my journey to become a mother
My name is Many Lay and I am 27 years old. I have dreamt of becoming a mother since as long as I can remember. At just 15 years old, I got on the Depo shot for fear of having a child at a young age not knowing how it will effect me later in life. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 years now and after over 10 years of being on the Depo shot, I got the terrible news that I could not conceive naturally for it had clogged my Fallopian tubes, also have PCOS. We started researching IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) and with some luck we were able to start the process last February. It was one of the most hardest things I have ever done. IVF is not only physically exhausting , but emotionally as well. With IVF being so critical, I had to stop working for a few months which meant the only income coming in was my husbands. In March, we transferred the embryo and got a call saying it worked!! I was pregnant!!! i’ve never been so happy in my life.
I was seven weeks and 2 days when I started to bleed. Went in two days later for an ultrasound and that’s when they told me I have had a miscarriage. I was so heartbroken.
I’m not ready to give up becoming a mother. I have done 3 around of IVF now, but we are not financially there. With trying to catch up on expenses, we are not able to afford the costly medicines needed to have a full and healthy pregnancy.
Please help me on my journey to becoming a mother. Thank you
