Bill & Jessica’s Infertility Journey

We are Jessica & Bill, and we have been happily married since March 2021. Since we said “I Do” we’ve been trying to conceive, and struggled to do so. In October of 2021, we were able to begin seeing a fertility specialist. I underwent multiple blood tests, HSG, ultrasounds, etc. All to come back with the classification of Unexplained Infertility. We have done medicated cycles, and three rounds of IUI. In June of 2022, we were so blessed to be able to conceive with the 3rd IUI. However, six short weeks later we lost the baby. It was a horrible loss, and I’ll forever remember the overwhelming happiness and then the horrible emptiness as I was told. We are now ready to begin this journey again, but need your help to make our dream of becoming parents a reality. Insurance covers NONE of Infertility Treatment, and each cycle involves blood work, ultrasounds, medications, and then the actual IUI. Each cycle cost an average of $1200. If IUI fails after several cycles, we are looking at IVF, and each cycle with that is $15,000. We want to have our happy family, and we would love to have the chance again to try to create that.
