My name is Lum. I have PCOS and have been struggling with fertility issues since my husband and I got married in 2019. PCOS is a disorder where multiple cysts grow in your ovaries and also cause hormonal imbalances. It makes it difficult for ovulation to occur. I am 26 years old and I am a cardiac medical surgical nurse. My husband is 29 and is a middle school math teacher. We both have wanted kids from the moment we got married. We saved up what we could and got 3 rounds of Clomid with IUI fertility treatments in 2021 after 2 years of trying unsuccessfully. We got pregnant after the third round and were overjoyed. Unfortunately that pregnancy ended in an ectopic pregnancy. I received Methotrexate shots and also ended up having surgery on 12/31/21 when the medication did not work. My right Fallopian tube was also removed during the surgery because it was damaged. We are heart broken. We are praying everyday for God to bless us with a miracle baby.
