Lauren and Derek are two of the kindest humans you will ever meet. Anyone that has met either of them has felt the light and love that they radiate. They are down to earth, hilarious, loving, empathetic, generous and genuine. Lauren is a social worker at a local elementary school and positively impacts the lives of the children and their families every single day. She is patient, creative, fun, intelligent, understanding, caring and an amazing advocate for those kids. She has a heart of gold and pours all of that into those she cares about, both professionally and personally. Derek is kind, dedicated, hard-working, intelligent, patient, honest and supportive. They got married in 2017 and have been trying to start a family for several years. They have remained positive and hopeful despite the challenges they have faced while on this journey. There are no two people that are more deserving of being parents than Lauren and Derek.
