Building our family through IVF

My name is Haley, and my husband's name is Kevin. My husband suffered from testicular cancer at the age of 29, which resulted in metastases, several surgeries, and ultimately chemotherapy to beat. While the battle against cancer was successful, we unfortunately knew the treatments left us unable to conceive naturally, and we would have to use a sperm donor. When I started fertility treatments, I found out I have low ovarian reserve for my age (I am 33), making it more difficult for me to conceive. We went through 5 unsuccessful rounds if IUI with a sperm donor, and now have decided to pursue IVF as the next steps. We are hopeful that this will end our infertility journey, but we know it will be a long road. We are optimistic for what the future holds and the family we hope to build.
