Hello! My name is Ashley. Chris and I have been married since August 12th 2017 and have been together for 12 years. A few months after we got married, our world was turned upside down. I was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia at the age of 28 and had complications that nearly ended my life. This destroyed our hope and dreams of becoming parents as I was unable to freeze my eggs as I urgently had to start treatment. I will have this form of leukemia forever and will need to take an oral targeted therapy for the rest of my life. There are very strict guidelines in order for me to go off the medication to carry a baby. I currently do not and will likely never meet those guidelines. I completed IVF cycle in June of 2024 and we have 2 genetically healthy embryos. We are looking for a gestational carrier through an agency. This process if very costly. We have a very loving and supportive extended family and close friends. We have nieces and nephews that we love dearly and enjoy watching them grow. We are yearning to become parents and finding a gestational carrier will give us the best gift ever- our miracle baby. Thank you so much for your generous donations, we appreciate it so much!
