Hello there! My husband (Delyn) and myself (Courtney) were blessed with a daughter in April of 2021 and a son in September of 2023. We feel SO blessed to be their parents, but neither of us feel as though our family is complete. We started trying to get pregnant during the summer of 2025 and did not have any luck. We sought help from fertility providers and actually found out that I had a rare ovarian cancer called a Granulosa Cell Tumor or "GCT". This type of cancer is a sex cord stromal tumor, meaning that it originates in the hormone-producing cells of the ovaries. Luckily, we were able to have it surgically removed in October 2025. Not so luckily, during this surgery, we also had to have the left fallopian tube and ovary removed as well. Since recovering from this surgery, we have continued to try to get pregnant and have not had any luck. We believe as a result of the surgery, we are not able to get pregnant "naturally" due to pelvic adhesions likely caused by my extensive abdominal surgical history. These adhesions have impacted the shape by making the tubes moderately tortuous (think spiral staircase) and have likely impacted overall function of this remaining fallopian tube. All of this leads us this...! We are hoping to raise money to assist us in being able to begin IVF to be one step closer to "completing" our family. We do want to acknowledge that we know that everything is VERY expensive right now and that if you are not able to assist us in raising money, we absolutely understand and just ask for well wishes and thoughts being sent our way! THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us through this VERY rough 1.5 years so far!
