My name is Judy and I have struggled with infertility through my 6 years of marriage. I am 39 and my egg supply is low. I removed polyps and fibroids to reduce blockages. My husbands semen does not survive more than 24 hours . So, we are struggling on both ends. My husband is currently not with me due to immigration halts through the pandemic. I have finally been able to freeze and ship his sperm to Massachusetts for IVF. Everything is getting super expensive and as I get older the more out of pocket expenses we face. Alternative means to start a family such as adoptions and surrogates , seems to be very difficult. I am grieving the inability to be with my husband and the inability to conceive. The pain is difficult but I persevere, I am making meaning in the lives of the children,teens,and adults that I council. My husband finds some comfort in his nieces but these measures do not remove the longing that is felt to start a family of our own. Any amount donated will help through this difficult time .
