Da�Cia�s IVF Journey

My name is Da’Cia and I suffer from poly cystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis. The two are commonly referred to as PCOS and Endo for short. What this means is that my body produces the wrong level of hormones needed to ovulate and I generally do not ovulate, as well as developing cysts on my ovaries and dealing with a variety of health issues including inability to lose weight and keep it off, abnormal hair growth, and insulin sensitivity. With Endo I have abnormal endometrial tissue growth causing the tissue to grow where it shouldn’t causing extremely painful periods, pain outside of my period, and more. Between the two of these, I deal with bleeding anywhere between 4-21+ days at a time except when medicated, heavy painful periods, sometimes infrequent periods, not ovulating and a whole lot of pain in general. To be a mother has always been my goal and because of the impact of not only these but other things it’s becoming harder to make that happen. I do not have unlimited funds as much as I would love to and IVF is the best step for me to take. Donating even $5 can help me so much. Thank you!
