My name is Nikki, and I have dreamt of being a mother ever since I was a little girl. I never thought I'd be in a situation of infertility or navigating this journey as a single mother. But I am 42 years old, and I can no longer wait to meet the right man, so I decided to try and make my dreams come true on my own. I started my IVF journey in Feb of 2023. I've since done three unsuccessful rounds of IUI and two rounds of IVF, which have only yielded 2 healthy embryos. I am starting my 3rd and final round of IVF in October. If I am successful this round, my chances of having a healthy baby increase from 70% to 90%. The emotional and financial burden this has placed on me is overwhelming. I am more than $39,000 in debt for trying to become a mother. I am keeping my journey private, only a few of my friends and family know, so I am hoping to find support and help from the generosity of this community.
