Upcoming.Grateful for My Insurance Coverage, but Still Facing One Major Expense
October 31, 2026
I feel extremely fortunate and grateful to have excellent health insurance that covers almost everything related to my fertility journey. My insurance covers my embryo transfer, medications, doctor visits, ultrasounds, and other necessary medical care. However, there is one major expense that my insurance does not cover: the purchase of frozen donor eggs. Unfortunately, this is also one of the most expensive parts of the entire process. While I am incredibly thankful that so much of my treatment is covered, the cost of purchasing donor eggs is still a significant financial obstacle in my journey toward growing my family. I am doing everything I can to make this dream a reality. Every donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to this goal. Even if you are unable to donate, sharing my fundraiser means more than you know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, encouragement, prayers, and support. ❤️

Organized by Elsa Lazaro. NY.
After four rounds of IVF and exhausting my savings, I’m raising $30,000 specifically for donor eggs, while my partner and I cover all other IVF expenses, in hopes of giving our daughter a sibling.
