We are Brooke and Emily Thayer and we have both dreamed of being moms for as long as we can remember. We have been talking and preparing for this season since we started dating 3 years ago, and it is taking a longer than we (maybe naively) thought it would to conceive. We are draining our emergency savings to pay for this process and are starting to really feel the financial burden for trying to conceive as a two mom family. While we have money saved, our hope is to use that money to pay for our birth and maternity leave (neither of our jobs have paid leave). The funds raised by this will help to cover our continued treatment and alleviate some of the financial burden. But genuinely please don’t feel any pressure to donate!
