Hello my name is Tori. I have PCOS as well as a Unicornuate Uterus. For those who do not know what that means. A Unicornuate Uterus is a rare genetic disorder in which only one half of your uterus forms. This means that the Uterus is much smaller than a normal Uterus and typically only has 1 fallopian tube that can work properly. In my case I have 1 fallopian tube and both of my ovaries. Therefore it makes It very difficult to conceive naturally. I will need to have assistance such as IVF or IUI. As some may know, fertility treatment is very expensive. Insurance does not pay for it, so everything is out of pocket. This is very hard for us to even ask for help. We want to expand our family so bad but it is such a financial burden on us.
