My name is Kaela and I married my wife Breanna in 2022, but we’ve been together since high school (about 12 years). We’ve always hoped to build a family, but since we’re a same sex couple, it won’t come easy for us. I’m a middle school teacher and my wife works for a not for a not-for profit company. We have both also picked up second jobs recently, but we’re finding that we’re just not going to have the amount of money required up front to start our IUI journey. As we both get older (both now in our 30’s), it’s hard to imagine waiting several more years to save the money.
