From Love to Life: Our IVF Journey

Hi everyone,
This is something I’ve gone back and forth about sharing, but I’m choosing to be open because this journey has been heavier than I ever imagined.
For some time now, my husband and I have been trying to have a baby. What we thought would be a joyful, natural process has instead been filled with waiting, uncertainty, and a lot of quiet heartbreak. Month after month, we’ve held onto hope… only to be met with another negative pregnancy test. Each one is a kind of pain that’s hard to explain unless you’ve lived it.
I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS, which has made getting pregnant really difficult. It’s been frustrating, emotional, and at times discouraging feeling like my body isn’t doing what I wish it could. On top of that, I had heart surgery two years ago, and since then, my body has been through so much. It’s something I’m still navigating, and it’s added even more challenges to this journey.
There have been so many moments where I’ve questioned everything, where I’ve felt overwhelmed, and where it’s been hard to stay positive. But through all of it, one thing has stayed the same—we both deeply want to become parents. We dream about the day we can finally hold our baby, and that dream is what keeps us going.
After speaking with doctors and going through our options, IVF is the step we’re now taking. It gives us hope in a way we haven’t felt in a long time. But the reality is, IVF is very expensive, and it’s not something we can do alone financially.
So with open hearts, we’re asking for help.
If you’re able to donate, share our story, or even just keep us in your thoughts and prayers, it truly means everything to us. Your support, in any form, brings us one step closer to the family we’ve been praying for.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for standing with us during such a personal and emotional time.
With love,
Gia & Edgar
