My name is Sierra and I have PCOS as well as being a carrier for Fragile X. Fragile X is a genetic condition that effects the x chromosome and causes mild to severe intellectual disability. It affects both males and females, but females usually have milder symptoms. My husband and I have been together for 8 years and trying to start our family for 6 years now. With the information we know know about Fragile X, we are pursuing IVF to be able to have our embryos tested. Unfortunately, the cost of testing those embryos is roughly 7000 dollars for a minimum of 8 samples with an additional cost for each sample past 8. Your donation would allow us to test our embryos and give us a chance of having a healthy baby to start our family. Any extra money beyond that will go towards the cost of IVF and medications.
