My name is Nicole and I my husband name is Elbert and we have a 9 year old son name is Landon. I have stage IV endometriosis. I have suffered with this debilitating disease for many years. It has caused us infertility struggles. 10 years ago, due to my severity of my endometriosis, we did undergo IVF to start our family. Thankfully IVF cycle was successful and we were pregnant with my son Landon. I had complications with my pregnancy and went into preterm labor at 27 weeks and gave birth to my 2lb 9 oz son at 28weeks gestation. Thankfully he had no complications and is a thriving happy 9 year old today. Unfortunately my endometriosis caused me to be very ill after giving birth and I had a complete abdominal hysterectomy 14 months after giving birth to my only child. We do have 3 frozen embryos from our IVF cycle and have been waiting 7 years for the right gestational carrier and the right time to expand our family.
