In my first pregnancy , my waters ruptured at 19 weeks and I delivered at 24 weeks and 2 days. It was a horrible experience , but four years later my son is a champion! At that time I was never diagnosed with anything. Since then I've lost five pregnancies pretty early. I have had tons of testing and imaging done and even with an mri and ultrasounds and hysteroscopy, my doctors still can't tell if I have two different uteruses or if I have a very bad septum creating two uterine cavities. The only way to tell at this point is to have surgery to open me up and look. Nonetheless , I am unable to carry with whichever the answer is. Our doctor has told us a gestational carrier is the only option. We paid out of pocket for my egg retrieval and making embryos . I got 36 eggs and from those we ended up with 6 genetically normal testing embryos. 4 boys and 2 girls. We now have to come out of pocket to do a transfer to a carrier , and also to pay for compensation for this carrier . And all of her medical expenses that come with it. After all the heartache we are so close.!
