Our journey began many years ago, when I had to have surgery on my uterus to remove some patches of endometriosis, in the hope of being able to get pregnant naturally. Unfortunately, shortly afterward, endometriosis continued to be an obstacle, and as time went on, my husband and I decided to have our first IVF. After much expense, tears and expectations, we discovered that my ovarian reserve was not enough to guarantee an egg capable of fertilization. Our last hope is through egg donation, which is a very expensive procedure that we cannot afford. Furthermore, due to my age (42 years old) the dream of becoming a mother is increasingly distant but we are sure that we are stronger than our infertility and will be able to form our family with God's blessings and his donation.
