Hi! We are Matt, Mackenzie and Alexis Euten! Our journey with IVF started 5 years ago with Alexis. In our first round we got 2 precious embabies, the first of which become our spunky loving girl! Once she turned two we decided it was time to try again. Unfortunately or second embaby turned into an early loss. We knew we wanted to keep trying and started talking with our doctor about another cycle. At that time we were given the news that there was a possibility we could not go through IVF again. The trauma Matt's body had been through with his severe GI bleed the year prior, had taken a big toll on him. We were devastated. Fast forward 2 years later, after a lot of healing and hoping we found out this past July that our wishes were granted! We are over the moon to be able to given this opportunity again. Although this cycle will require a few extra steps, we are willing to do each one, and are hopeful that Alexis will get to become a big sister! This time around I will do an egg retrieval and freezing so that Matt can do a sperm retrieval called TESE. Once they have both and make the embryos we can go back for a transfer. Luckily, we discovered that this time around our insurance has actually picked up pieces of the process. We are fundraising for parts of the process they will not cover, fees and unexpected expenses. We will be creating a puzzle as we collect funds so that we have something to remember each person that helped us. Every person who donates will receive a puzzle piece to put their name or message on. When the puzzle is complete it will be glued in a frame and hung in the nursery.
