My name is Helen and for as long as I can remember, I have always wanted a big family of my own. I met my husband, Frank, 18 years ago and we are high school sweethearts. We have a 5 year old daughter named Amelia. When I found out I was pregnant, it was one of the happiest days for us. I enjoyed every moment being pregnant and knowing I was going to be a mom. Unfortunately, on the day I delivered our daughter, we encountered some complications that ultimately led to me needing a hysterectomy to save my life. Almost 6 years later, Frank and I have tried to continue working towards expanding our family. In April of 2022, we successfully made two embryos. Two days before our wedding in November of 2022, my husband was in a car accident. Ultimately his injuries has led him to many doctor appointments, procedures and the loss of his job. Through all of the bumps in the road, we are still hopeful that we can find a way to grow our family through surrogacy and bring our two embryos to life so Amelia can have her wish of being a big sister.
Any little bit helps. I appreciate you reading my post and considering to contribute to my fundraiser.
