We are the Garrs' and have been struggling with Infertility. My wife has endometriosis. It is a common health condition in women of color where tissue grows outside of the uterus, casuing infertility, pain, miscarriages and more. We have experienced difficult situations pertaining to this. We already have to fight so hard for our family in this world, let alone having to deal with infertility as well. Some have found that Black women are more likely to be infertile than other women. Some mistakenly believe that infertility is not an issue for African Americans. However, the truth is that infertility affects black men and women in larger percentages than it does other races. There are many obstacles for those apart of the LGBTQ community as well. We are trying to overcome the high cost for IVF and continued discrimination. We are asking you to help us on this new path by donating to our fundraiser.
