My name is Jaimee and my soon to be wife’s name is Jennifer. We have been together 6 years! We are not a couple who asks for help or handouts. But I feel we are running out of time as my “biological clock” is ticking. I don’t even know where to begin… I have guilt even writing a comment for a fundraiser, but here goes nothing. My wifey and I have decided to try for a baby again and want our little one to have a little sibling or two. We began meeting with a fertility doctor and considering different options as a same sex couple. Here we sit after months and months…. four cycles of negative tests, and now four unsuccessful IUI’s (intrauterine insemination). After speaking with our doctor at the fertility clinic, it was decided that IVF was our next step to grow our family. It will cost us a minimum of $10,000.00 for the possibility of our dream to come true.
