Help a young cancer survivor with IVF ?

Hello! Chances are if you’re reading this you know who I am, but in case you don’t my name is Amanda Bacon and I live in Denver, CO. Thanks for taking the time to read my story and know that this is not easy for me to do. I hope you can read along and hear my journey (whether you are able to donate or not:) My story and situation is unique as I was forced into this fertility issue journey as a result of Stage 4 Rectal cancer a month after I turned 35. I underwent 17 rounds of chemo and had 6 surgeries in the span of two years. I decided to freeze my eggs 3.5 years ago to give myself a chance to have a child down the road. The years I fought cancer were long and brutal. Not knowing if I was going to live or die was not only terrifying, but made me think a lot about my hopes and dreams if I did survive. I am currently over 3 years disease free and even though my oncologist cleared me over a year ago to pursue IVF I wanted to wait a year longer just to be sure. I am in a place of good health in all ways and am proud of how far I’ve come! I can’t even believe it sometimes. I have begun the process of IVF at a local Denver clinic and am very excited! I THOUGHT I had all that I needed financially to see this process through, but what I’ve learned is that there are so many additional tests and procedures that are required that you don’t know about until you start the process. Those of you who have gone through this process know this pain and struggle 💔 I am asking for help for the remaining amount so I can attempt my first round of treatment.
