Hi! My name is Ashley, I’m a 32 year old who was diagnosed with endometriosis in my late teens. For those of you who don’t know, endometriosis is when the lining of your uterus (the tissue) grows on the outside of your uterus. It can be extremely painful and I’ve had multiple surgeries to ‘scrape’ the tissue. During one of the surgeries I was told that both of my Fallopian tubes were blocked and I would be unable to conceive naturally. After that, to confirm, I had 2 inconclusive hysterosalpingogram procedures (HSG). As you can imagine, for someone wanting a family, this was absolutely devastating news.
Moving forward to Nick, the moment we met we knew we were meant to be with each other. But what are the chances that two people would get together and both would suffer from infertility?! As I was going through some additional testing, Nick decided to get some testing done himself. There we found out that he was suffering from male factor infertility.
We’ve both tried supplements, diet changes, activity changes, etc. some producing minor changes, but not enough to be able to bring a child into this world. We want nothing more than to be parents and would be forever grateful for any help! We understand that times are tough for everyone right now, so if you are unable to give, that’s okay too! We appreciate you taking the time to read a little about our story.
Prayers are also welcome and appreciated just as much!
We both thank you from the very bottom of our hearts!
With much love and gratitude,
Ashley + Nick
