Hello, my name is Ciara and I recently found out that I have POI (premature ovarian insufficiency). Essentially this means that I am in premenopause which is extremely rare for women aged 27. The eggs that I do have are not going to mature and this is keeping me from using my own eggs during the IVF process. My husband and I have been trying for over a year now, since we got married, and are ready to grow our family and take that next big step together. I have always wanted children ever since I was young. I am an infant nanny and have been working in this field for over 8 years. I absolutely love children and can't wait until we have one of our own. With IVF being so expensive already, requiring a donor has made it impossible for us to do this on our own.
