Hello, We are a newlywed same-sex couple from Goleta, CA. We have been together for 6 years and just got married in April. Both of our dreams are to one day become parents. We are looking forward to starting a family together. Not to mention, our adorable, 10-year-old dog, is just dying for a baby in the home. We have begun the process of creating a baby through IVF. The process, while exciting and beautiful, is extremely emotionally delicate and financially draining. My wife is a chef, and I am a special education teacher. We love to take of others and have a passion for it. Unfortunately, caring for others is not the most lucrative business. For those of you whom, like me, knew the process could be expensive, but not exactly how, I have included a breakdown below (this does not include everything). Total for IVF: $17,500 Ultrasounds: $600 each visit Medicine/hormones: 2,100 every month Sperm vials: 1,900 each vile One thing that would make this process more attainable and help our dreams come true, would-be contributions from the generosity of heart form the beautiful individuals we share this world with. My wife and I would be so honored to receive any the smallest amount of help. We humbly ask now for our communities' donations in helping us build a family.
