Help Dana & Erik have a Baby!

Erik and Dana have looked forward to the day we could be parents for a long time. After trying for a few years, we decided to seek assistance. It turns out that after having had cancer as a child, for which Erik needed chemo and radiation therapies, he has a very low chance of naturally conceiving a healthy baby. As we were about to begin IVF treatment in January 2025, Erik got a new diagnosis of colon cancer. He had a life-changing and costly surgery at the end of March. This diagnosis has caused us to put our IVF journey on hold until Erik's cancer has been fully treated. Even though we live in Connecticut, neither of our employers are based in our state. This means they don't need to comply with CT's IVF mandate, so unfortunately we are left without ANY coverage and need to pay 100% of the high costs of treatment out of pocket. We are hoping to get a little assistance to try to reduce the stress that can come with this process and make our hopes a reality. We have so much love to give and are so excited to share that as we grow our family! Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated and we thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.
