My name is Ella and my husband and I have been trying to conceive children for the past eight years. Our journey to becoming parents has been fraught with emotional highs and lows and challenging financial stressors that have impacted our ability to conceive. We tried monitored intrauterine insemination (IUI), which were unsuccessful and lead us to start IVF. Unfortunately, the financial burden of these treatments have left us feeling overwhelmed and inadequate. Until now, and with great regret, we let our pride interfere with asking others to financially support our attempt to fulfill the mitzvah of having a children.
