Our names are Kristen and Andrea, and we have been together for 6 years. We met at a local animal shelter that we both worked at, and that was the beginning of our story. I have a child from a previous relationship and Andrea has accepted her without a second thought. Before me, Andrea felt as though she has decided that she never wanted children, and she never wanted to be married.. Now here we are, 6 years later, married and we have our daughter. The past 3 years have been busy with us getting settled in our careers and trying to add the final addition to our family. We have tried 4 or 5 times, but with our careers in the animal field, funding for our attempts have been a long process. We so desperately want to add the final piece to our puzzle.
