Hello, my name is Lauren and I am here to ask for your help. I want to be a mom and am venturing out as a single woman to make that happen. I have spent the last few years working towards this goal while meeting several barriers, including finances and my PCOS diagnosis. I did not always know I wanted to be a mom, but when I felt it, I knew it in my heart and soul. I tried IUI last year, and spent a significant amount of money without success. My treatment team recommended IVF so I made a goal to finance the treatment, but at this time I was not awarded a large enough loan due to my income. I have worked hard to achieve an excellent credit score, to tuck away what money I can and to give myself a financial cushion for brining a baby into the world but at this time it is not enough. I work fulltime hours, plus PRN as a social worker, and as much as I love my job it does not pay the best. I have made my mental and physical health a priority, and everyday I am striving to be the best version of myself. Any help will be beyond appreciated, and my hope is that one day I can pay it forward to others trying to build their families.
