Help Make My Dream of Motherhood Come True

For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed of becoming a mother. Life sometimes doesn't take us through the expect path that we believe when we are younger of finding a partner and marrying like traditional families. However, I don't want to let that dream go away, so I've embarked in an IVF process as a solo mom. It is exciting and scary and financially costly, but don't want to let this dream go away.
At 45, my doctors encouraged me to move forward because my ovarian reserve was still promising (above 2 AMH). Sadly, I recently went through an IVF cycle that resulted in 6 mature eggs, but resulted in no embryos fertilized to freeze. While heartbreaking, my Dr. believes there we many lessons learned from the first cycle and considering my AMH, there is still a path forward for another another attempt by improving protocol.
Unfortunately, fertility treatment comes with an enormous financial burden as single person. Not all costs are covered by my insurance, in part unfairly excluded by being single and unable to proof partner infertility, which puts me in a disadvantage to alleviate the financial costs as a single person. Therefore, much of the costs are to be covered by me, as it was for the first cycle, already spending over U$18K. Your kind support through this grant will help me alleviate the cost for medications, partial cost of the IVF cycle treament, ICSI, and PGTA testing and eventually transfer for a second cycle.
I'm sharing my story in the hope to have support of a community out there and still to try and not to give up of this beautiful dream.
Every donation, no matter the size will be greatly appreciated as it only helps me build the family I've dreamed of. Family has always been at the center of my life, and I'm doing everything I can to have the chance to create one of my own.
If you're unable to contribute financially, sharing my fundraiser with others would mean just as much.
Thank you for reading my story, for your kindness, and for believing that hope deserves another chance.
With enormous gratitude,
