Hello!
My name is Molly and two years ago I began my journey to become a single mother by choice. What originally started as something myself and doctors thought would be successful on the first attempt, turned into failure after failure.
I have always known I wanted to be a mom. I never dreamed of what my wedding would look like or what dress I would wear. Instead I was researching baby names and coming up with nursery ideas. But now that I'm 34 it seems that the window is closing for my dreams to become a reality.
It's hard for me to reach out for help since I want to be able to do everything on my own. But after two years of fertility treatment (2 IVF retrievals and 4 IUI attempts), the financial burden has taken its toll. My insurance has run out and even with the insurance the cost of the medication, which my insurance does not cover, has depleted my savings. It was also discovered that I will need surgery to remove a uterine septum to have a chance on becoming pregnant.
I am lucky in many ways. I have amazing family and friends. I have a home, and two cats and a dog. I am truly blessed in many ways, I am just hoping to add one more blessing to my life.
