My name is Roxanne and I had an unexpected bilateral salpingectomy. My husband Hank and I have been trying to conceive since October of 2018. After years of no success I finally sought the help of a fertility doctor. Since July of 2021 we have tried medications and IUI, which were not successful. I had a HSG completed that showed I had a polyp in my left fallopian tube and my right ovary was not spilling the dye as it should. In March I had hysteroscopy to hopefully remove the polyp in my left tube and a laparoscopy to see if scar tissue was blocking my right ovary. I woke up from anesthesia and was told they had to remove both fallopian tubes due to extensive damage. Needless to say I was, am, devastated. My only hope for my husband and I to become parents to a biological child, is through IVF. I am a nurse and my husband is a pest control specialist, meaning we are not rich by any means. Our only hope is by raising funds if my insurance does not have means to help with fertility. I have had 3 dreams in life; to marry an amazing man, become a nurse, and be a mother. My first 2 dreams have come true and now I reach out for help to make my 3rd dream come to life. Thank you
